This site is inspired by a love story.
As a young couple, my husband and I liked to spend our weekends strolling through little neighborhood shops around San Francisco. One day we came across an espresso machine. At the time, neither of us liked to drink coffee, but we still wanted it just the same. The price was $500. It seemed like a lot for something that would never be used for it's intended purpose. We walked away thinking it was an opulent and unwise decision.
Afterwards, neither of us could stop thinking about that machine. It was more than an espresso machine to us. It was a work of art. The creation of it was an ArtForm and we wanted it in our home.
Unfortunately, we couldn't afford it at the time. We had recently gotten married and there were lingering bills. We decided to set a goal. We would get the machine as a wedding gift to ourselves after we settled all of our commitments. A year later we went back and got it.
Twenty years and two kids later we are still married, we still have that machine and it is still an ArtForm in our home. Over time, we even gained an appreciation for coffee. Now it produces works of art in the form of lattes and latte art.
We have spent our lives together seeking out and appreciating different forms of art. We have been inspired by not only the ArtForms themselves but by the passion, creativity and dedication behind these works that makes them inspirational. Being inspired has taught us how to find our own passions and become inspirational to others. We have supported each other in our passions over the years and together we have become foodies, wine conaseurs, coffee aficionados, photography buffs, website designers, painters, magic makers and more.
